Hoods are fabricated from 2mm to 3mm mild steel sheet, formed and welded to a curved or flat-top profile. Lifting handles and inspection access doors on the top panel. Mounted to the conveyor frame on support brackets at standard spacing. Hot-dip galvanised or painted finish depending on exposure.
Skirt boards at loading zones contain the material at the point where it lands on the belt — where most spillage occurs. We design the skirt board length, rubber seal type and clamp arrangement around your material size and loading velocity.
Transfer chute enclosures contain dust at the point where material drops from one conveyor to another. These are often the single most effective dust reduction measure in a multi-conveyor system.
