Screw chip conveyors handle fine metal chips, grinding swarf and small punched slugs. The enclosed screw moves material horizontally from under the machine to a collection bin, separating coolant in the process. Compact, low maintenance, built into the machine pit or mounted alongside it.
Hinged steel belt conveyors — also called hinge plate conveyors — handle longer turning chips, bushy swarf and irregular scrap that would jam a screw conveyor. The interlocking steel plates are self-cleaning and can handle wet, oily and abrasive material that would destroy a standard belt within days.
Drag chain scrap conveyors move heavy pressed scrap and sheet metal offcuts from press beds or blanking lines to a collection skip. Simple, robust, low maintenance.
